Getting engaged is occasion for celebration. This couple started off the wonderful wedding festivities with an engagement party. This party, planned by Mindy Weiss, was city chic at the New York Historical Society, but I can also see this invitation for a Los Angeles or Miami elegant wedding on the beach, complete with tents and fireworks. If you're planning a very formal or traditional wedding, be creative and have some fun with the engagement parties and bridal showers. The palette for this invitation is sophisticated, clean and contemporary, a little fun before the formality of a more traditional and elegant wedding to follow.

This invitation is styled after Real Card Studio's Margarita wedding invite in more traditional colors than the lime green and black that we show it in on our website, www.realcardstudio.com. The pocket folder was custom made in Pacific Blue and the cover wrapped with a dark chocolate brown satin ribbon. Letterpress printed in a dark cocoa and ocean blue, the ink colors were custom mixed to match the paper and ribbon, giving it a crisp and uniform appeal.
