Custom hand lettering letterpress printed in freesia ink
Bougainvillea 1" satin bow.
How do you combine an ultra-feminine color like fuchsia with a black tie event at Central Park? Simple, elegant, with a hint of shiny:
Real Card Studio's
Amaretto invitation in sparkling white with magenta satin. And did I mention the calligraphy? Hand lettering letterpress printed in Freesia gives this wedding invitation a light romantic sophistication, without being the least bit stuffy.
Neatly tucked into the pocket hidden behind the invitation, you'll find the response set and a custom illustrated map to help guests locate the festivities.
There's nothing square about this gorgeous wedding invitation. (Except of course, the shape!)

Modern birth announcement by Real Card Studio :: Custom monogram and pattern
letterpress printed in yellow, mint and cool gray with seafoam green envelope liner.
It was flattering when this mother-to-be asked me to design her daughter's birth announcements, she being a professional arts advocate and her husband a musician, among their other varied talents. Their daughter's baby announcement would have to be creative, modern and beautiful.
I love a strong trend as much as the next girl, but when the client asked for 'maybe a chevron pattern', I worried that it would make the piece look too trendy. So instead, I translated that request into 'something current and graphic, yet feminine'. To stand in for chevron, I created a clean, modern monogram of their daughter's name and repeated it in the background to make this beautiful and textural pattern. To soften in up a touch, we rounded the corners. (This concept would be stunning in black and white as well!)
And for a modern feminine color scheme, lemon, taffy and grey can't be beat.
