Last week, Real Card Studio was honored to participate in a beautiful open house event for Cameron Catering at the beautiful industrial event space, Fremont Foundry in Seattle. The theme of the event was "Around the World in 180 Minutes", playing off of the novel by Jules Verne, "Around the World in 80 Days" regaling the golden age of travel.

The travel theme gave them lots of room to show off a variety of food styles, as well as event decoration that was provided by Pedersen's, Vintage Ambiance, Choice Linens and Lola Event Florals and Design, and photographed by Alante Photography. For our part, we provided custom tent cards to call out the different dishes at each buffet, as well as hand lettered signs (that we'll share in another post).

Real Card Studio's "Sugar Mill" invitations, letterpress printed in navy blue on soft pink card stock–with flourishes befitting a French pâtisserie–would make a smashing start to a Paris-themed wedding or engagement party. Hopelessly romantic, and a really good excuse to decorate with pink and serve champagne, caviar and savory crêpes and a multitude of desserts from éclairs, chaussons aux pommes, macarons in every color and Eiffel Tower shaped chocolates.

Sugar Mill invitations are available at Union Street Papery in San Francisco. For more stores, please visit our website. Photography by Alante Photography. Sugar Mill photos by Fresh Outtakes. Bamboo Beats, Green Light Events, Fun Frames also participated, and Youth Care raised funds for their non-profit to help homeless teens.
